Internship is essential to connect classroom knowledge with real-life experiences and to develop leadership, communication and problem-solving skills in students, said Higher Education Council Vice Chairperson Dr.: Achyut Shankar. The seminar on 
Education beyond the classroom, organized by the Institute for Sustainable Development and Governance and the Kerala Institute for Environment and Development, was inaugurated and internship certificates were distributed.
Internships provide students with practical experience and job skills along with academic studies. 
The program will help students utilize their knowledge and skills in the practical field and familiarize themselves with various opportunities in the job sector. ISDG Chairperson John Samuel presided over the event. Dr. J.B. Rajan, Dr.  P.P. Balan, Dr. S. K. Biju, Darshana Mohan , Sunilji, Sanjo Sabu, and Anilkumar P.Y. participated. 97 students completed the internship training.
